Information Regarding Our Fees
At Damstra Orthodontics, we believe in providing clear and concise information regarding our fees. Our aim is to offer affordable orthodontic care while maintaining the highest standards of treatment. Below, you will find detailed information about our fee structure and payment policies.
→ Our fees are less than DISCOVERY® MEDICAL AID rates
→ We are contracted in for DISCOVERY® MEDICAL AID only and can claim directly
→ We are not contracted in for any other medial aids. You will have to settle the account and submit the claim yourself.
→ The quotes are valid for the current calendar year
→ The patient is always personally responsible for the account.
ALL FEES (3 STAGES)
a.Before we start the treatment
→ There will be a charge for the consultation.
→ If the patient is ready for treatment, there will be additional costs for x-rays, photo’s, models and treatment planning.
a.During the treatment
→ The fee for active treatment will be determined by the severity of the case
→ The fee will consist of a deposit and monthly instalments
→ Additional costs during the treatment: Infection control will be charged at each visit. Breakages will be charged extra. Laboratory fees are also charged extra if required.
a.After the treatment
→ These fees pertain to the removal of the braces and placement of retainers to maintain the achieved result.
→ The fees also include the post-treatment photos, x-rays and follow-up visits.
